Tell me the domain and what you are seeing. You will get a straight answer about whether it is serious, what is likely causing it, and whether you need to hire anyone at all.

Messages come to me directly. I read all of them, including the ones that turn out not to be work, and I would rather tell you that you do not need help than take a project that should not exist.

Send a Message

The more context you give, the more useful the reply. If you are short on time, the domain and one sentence is enough.

What you send is used to answer your enquiry and nothing else. No mailing list, no sharing with anyone.

Why people write

Four kinds of message, and how each is handled

Knowing which of these you are sending helps you write a shorter message and helps me give a more useful reply.

A These get answered first

Something has gone wrong

Traffic has fallen, a listing was suspended, or a manual action landed. Say what changed and roughly when, and include a link to the affected pages if you have one.

B Two to four days

You want the free audit

The domain, the states you operate in, and how many stores. You get a written read on what is wrong and what it is costing you, whether or not we work together.

C One business day

You are scoping a project

Budget range and timeline help, but they are not required to start a conversation. If the work is not a fit you will be told rather than quoted at.

D A few days

You have a question about something published here

A correction, a disagreement, or a question a guide did not answer. These are welcome and they are answered by the person who wrote the guide.

Questions

Before you write

I do. There is no account manager, no intake team, and no chatbot deciding whether your message is worth passing on. Whatever you send is read by the person who would do the work.
No. You get a reply to what you asked. If you go quiet there is one follow up, and then nothing. No newsletter you did not sign up for and no drip campaign.
That is fine and quite common. Plenty of enquiries are people checking whether the thing they are seeing is serious. If the honest answer is that you can fix it yourself, that is the answer you will get.
Yes. Agencies without cannabis specialists sometimes bring me in for the technical and compliance side while they keep the client relationship. Say so upfront and it is straightforward to arrange.
I work from Bangladesh, so replies usually arrive while the United States is overnight. In practice that means you send something at the end of your day and an answer is waiting the next morning. Calls are arranged around your afternoon.
